68, of Isanti, passed away on September 15, 2016 after a long battle with cancer and MS.
She grew up on a dairy farm near Meire Grove, MN, graduated Sauk Centre High School, St. Cloud State University, and the University of St. Thomas. She began her career as a teacher at Underwood Elementary, and finished her career with 27 years in the St. Francis School District 15. She spent her retirement with family and friends, traveling, and enjoying nature.
She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Mary Yarke, her brother Jerome Yarke, and her nephews Kevin and Ron Blenker.
Survived by her husband Joseph Plantenberg of 45 years, her daughters Jennifer and Jacqueline Plantenberg, her brothers and sisters Eugene, Roger, Richard Yarke, Mary Ann (Allen) Blenker, Irene (Jim) Nathe, Joe (Sally) Yarke, Albert Jr. (Joyce) Yarke, JoAnn (Rick) Scharenbroich, Jane (Jim) Kraker, Marlene (Steve) Gunderson, and many other relatives and good friends.
