Loraine Marie Tieva, 65, of Golden Valley passed away peacefully Friday, November 1, 2013 surrounded by family in her home after a courageous 23-year battle with breast cancer.
Loraine was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Survived by loving husband of 44 years, Richard; children, Michael (Jennifer), Matthew and Jennifer; grandchildren, she loved so dearly; Jacob, Gabriel, Elliana, Elias and Ethan, father Jean Jenison, sister Dorothy Jorgensen, close family friends Jackie Molnau and Andy Priebe, and many other loving family members and close friends. She was preceded in death by mother, Elsie Jenison and brother Ralph Jenison. Loraines smile and kindness towards all will not be forgotten.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Washburn McReavy Chapel in Glen Haven. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley, Minn. Memorials preferred to Susan G. Komen for the Cure or The American Cancer Society. Arrangements with Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Chapel.
