Delores Elaine Lucht

Delores Elaine Lucht (nee. Nordlinder) passed away peacefully July 6, 2017 at Rosewood Senior Living in Cambridge, MN. She was 86 years old.
Born February 19, 1931 in New Rockford, ND to John and Evelyn (Harrum) Nordlinder, she was the second of ten children.
After graduating high school in Verona, she attended State Teachers College, Valley City, North Dakota in 1950 and then taught in a one-room school house.
She was united in marriage to Leonard Larson July 5,1953 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Verona, ND, and to this marriage six children were born. On May 30,1973 she married Elmer Lucht of Braham, MN.
She lived in Minneapolis, Brainerd, Red Wing, St. Paul, and several places in South Dakota throughout her life.
Delores loved her family and the many friends she made over the years. She loved gardening and was very proud of her flowers. She would take anybody on for a game of cribbage. She enjoyed bowling, dancing and listening to music. She loved to laugh and tell jokes. She could watch sports of any kind on TV, especially the MN Twins.
While living in the St. Paul area Delores worked as a bank teller at First National Bank and Summit National Bank and later at Midway Chevrolet.
While living in the Braham area she waitressed and/or cooked & baked at many places including Park Café, Trackside, People's Café, King Oscars, Grant House, Moose Lodge, Corner Acres, Cricket and the Chalet. She also worked at the Braham SuperValu and worked for B's Home Health Care for many years. While living in the St. Cloud area she waitressed and/or cooked at Nathan B's and Home Plate. During her 2 ½ years at Rosewood Senior Living, Delores continued her practice of helping others by applying her waitress skills – to clear the table after meals, loading the dishwasher and sweeping the dining room floor.
She is survived by her children, David (Anna) Larson, Minneapolis, Dorothy (Bob) Johnson, Braham, Curtis (Trish) Larson, Elliston, VA, Douglas (Kathy) Larson, Inver Grove Heights, and Dennis Larson, St. Michael. Brothers, Marvin Nordlinder, Lisbon, ND and Don (Nancy) Nordlinder, Wasilla, AK, and sister, Marlys Raatz, Verona, ND; grandchildren, Brandy, Tanya and Christopher; 4 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Norman Nordlinder, Roger “Bud” Nordlinder, Arnold Nordlinder, Dennis Nordlinder, and sisters, Bernice Pritchard and Norma “Sis” Hoover; first husband Leonard Larson, her son, Donald Larson and second husband, Elmer Lucht.
The family wants to thank the caring and kind staff at Rosewood Senior Living and St. Croix Hospice, as well as the supportive and friendly fellow residents at Rosewood who made her laugh and smile as she prepared to journey home.

A Funeral Service at 11 a.m. on July 11, 2017 at the Braham Ev. Lutheran Chruch with Pastor Beverly Robinson officiating. Music was provided by Ruth Grundyson and Scott Glidden.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, July 10th at the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home, also one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
Interment was in the Rice Lake Cemetery in Braham.
