Mrs. Anna B. Knudson passed away on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014 at GracePointe Crossings Gables West in Cambridge. She was 101 years old.
Anna and her husband, Clarence, farmed near Coin for many years and retired to rural Cambridge in 1967. Anna was employed for many years in hospitals in Braham, Mora and Cambridge. Anna took great pleasure in cooking wonderful meals for family and friends. Anna and Clarence took many trips together, especially to draft horse shows and horse events.
Clarence and Anna were members of Cambridge Lutheran Church since 1968. Before this they were members of the Siloa and Brunswick Lutheran Churches.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Julia McGuire; six siblings; husband, Clarence Knudson; infant son, Harold D. Knudson; and grandson, John Knudson.
She is survived by sons, Clarence Lyle Knudson of Mora and Robert Knudson of Braham; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A special thank you for the many cards and letters from the Lutheran Ladies Circle and home visits over the years from visiting pastors. Also many thanks for the wonderful loving care given to Anna by the staff at GracePointe Crossings.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014 at the Cambridge Lutheran Church. Music provided by Marie Grundberg. Interment at the Isanti Union Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Rock Ingebrand Funeral Home of Braham. Condolences may be posted at www.aifuneralhome.com.
