Mary Ann Moline

Mary Ann Moline, of Cambridge, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 24, 2016. She was 73. Mary was born on July 23, 1942 to Milton and Esther (Beckstrom) Moline in Pine County.
She attended country school in Stanchfield and graduated from Braham High School in 1961. Mary worked for Control Data in Cambridge and Minneapolis until the company was bought out. She then retired from Seagate Technology in 2002. Mary made lifelong friends during her time at Control Data in Cambridge. She also volunteered for a time at Cambridge Health Care.
After her retirement, she returned to Cambridge to live and would join other retired Control Data ladies for luncheons. In retirement Mary moved to River Hills, where she enjoyed taking day trips with friends and family.
Mary had a phenomenal memory which was very useful in fitting gaps in the family tree. Mary loved to cook and was a great favorite at family get togethers, where her “Shoot Me To The Moon Bean” recipe was known and loved far and wide. She loved to read, collect horse figures and plates, spend time with family, and babysit her new friend, “Special K.”
She is preceded in death by her parents Milton and Esther, nieces and nephews Rebecca, Ronda, Gail, and Scott Larson, as well as nephew William Anderson.
Mary is survived by loving daughter, Jerrie Anderson; loving granddaughter and confidante, Melissa Williams; sisters, Ethel (David) Marx, Elaine Anderson, Rose (Ron) Peters, Beatrice McCarthy; brother, Eric (Elizabeth) Moline. She is also survived by special niece and personal shopper, Hope Anderson as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Memorial service held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home in Cambridge. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Cambridge Union Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Northwoods Humane Society, PO Box 264, Wyoming, MN 55092.
