Steven Frank Johnson, age 60, of Isanti, Minnesota passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.
Steven was born on July 14, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to Rubin and Geraldine (Nelson) Johnson. He grew up on a farm in rural Isanti. Steven graduated from Cambridge High School in 1973. Steven was employed with Ford Motor Company for 30 years and retired in 2007. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and woodworker. He had a passion for the outdoors, music, farming and cutting wood.
Steven is survived by his mother, Geraldine Johnson; son, Adam (Shay) Johnson, son, Eric Johnson; brother, Michael (Cindy) Johnson, sister, Shawna (Tim) Gleason, brother, Bradley Johnson; grandchildren, Trent and Brooke Johnson; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rubin Johnson and his wife, Judy (Salisbury) Johnson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30th at South Isanti Baptist Church, 3367 County Road 5 NE, Isanti, MN 55040. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service. Online condolences can be made at StrikeFuneral.com.
