Judith C. Hofstedt, of Braham, MN, passed away peacefully June 8, 2016 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. She was 76 years old.
Judith was born in Minneapolis to John and Pearl Sjoquist. She had been a resident of Braham since 1979. As part owner of the Braham Tap, she enjoyed all of her customers (maybe not all of their jukebox choices though) and loved to cook and provide the daily lunch specials. For the past several years she worked for Dennis Kirk in Rush City as a phone operator in sales.
She was an avid reader and was never without a book in hand. She always put her children and grandchildren first and loved them all deeply. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In accordance with her wishes, a funeral or memorial service will not be held. She asked that all who knew and loved her to celebrate life, hold family and loved ones close, do what you enjoy, and read all you possibly can and then read some more.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son John M. Hofstedt.
Judith is survived by her children Laurie Redding (Randy), Kurt Hofstedt (Jill), Ami Nelson (Kevin), Christopher Hofstedt; her sister Mary Lacabanne (Andre); six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
