Deloris A. Wiersma, age 82, of Dayton, passed away peacefully July 10, 2016.
She taught elementary school for 30 years in Anoka-Hennepin School District. In her later years she enjoyed volunteering for the a variety of mission projects.
Preceded in death by her previous husbands, Paul Brager and C.J. Wiersma; sister, Renee Wahlstrom.
Survived by children, Geraldine (Rusty) Howie, Deborah (Patrick) Adas, Scott Brager, Jacquelyn (Ken Solberg), Jan (Bob Hoxie), Wendy Bronson; grandchildren, Patrick and Joshua Adas, Jacob and Rafael Wilson; sisters, Rosemary (Ivan) Black and Janet Niemann; brother-in-law, Donald Wahlstrom; many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 15th from 5-8 p.m. at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW., Andover. Funeral service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior at the Bethel Christian Reform Church, 8938 33rd St., Princeton. In lieu of flowers, memorials to CRC or Gideons Bible Society.
