Kenneth Sherman, Dahlberg, son of Oscar and Martha (Collin) Dahlberg was born July 10, 1941 at Isanti, MN. He attended country school and graduated from Cambridge High School with the class of 1959. He joined the United States Army on December 19, 1963 and was stationed at Pirmasens, Germany. He was a member of the Signal Corp working in communications and was honorably discharged December 1, 1966.
Kenneth was united in marriage to Darlene Mae Campbell on October 14, 1967 in Oxford Baptist Church at Isanti. They made their home in Isanti, and he worked as a high-rise window washer in Minneapolis for 35 years. The last several years he was self-employed. In 2003, they moved to Ashley to retire. He started working part-time at McCleary Lumber in 2003 and whenever they needed him. Kenneth was diagnosed with cancer in April of 2014 and was still working two weeks ago.
Kenneth loved to read, watch Minnesota Vikings, play horseshoes and cribbage, bowl on leagues and attend country western and gospel concerts. He was an animal lover and enjoyed working on cars when he was younger. Spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren was very important to him.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Darlene; children, Andrew (Amanda) Dahlberg of Nowthen, MN, Sherri (Bryan) Iszler and Linnea (Charles) Tulp, both of Ashley; sisters, Lorraine (Floyd) Poff of Isanti, MN, Jeanette Poff of Forest Lake, MN and Ruth (Vern) Poff of Martin Lake, MN and seven grandchildren.
His parents and one infant child preceded him in death.
