Marion Bayer of Roseville, Minnesota passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 at GracePointe Crossing Gables West in Cambridge where she resided since 2011. She was 89 years old.
Marion was born on April 12, 1925 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the youngest of four girls. On June 10, 1953, Marion was united in marriage to William Bill Bayer. They made their home in Roseville, Minnesota and also lived on Rush Lake near Rush Point, Minnesota from 1971-1988. They were blessed with four daughters.
Marion was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Magdalen (Blees) Michlistch; three sisters Victoria, Elizabeth and Virginia and daughter Mary.
Marion is survived by her husband William Bill Bayer and three daughters Carolann (John) Holmblad of Cambridge, Susan (James) Turnquist of Isanti and Marian Bayer of Minneapolis. Marion has five granddaughters Erica (Joshua) Gerrity, Mary Dahlquist, Julia (Michael) Dixon, Madeline Turnquist and Emma Green along with seven great-grandchildren.
Marion will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Cambridge. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
