Greg “Bear” Berry, age 64, of Isanti passed away unexpectedly at home Friday, February 27, 2015.
Greg was an avid race car driver. He had a deep passion for vintage cars and loved to spend his time at the race track with his son. He embraced his Native American culture. Greg loved a good laugh and could find something good out of a pile of junk. Always smiling with his wonderful sense of humor, and with endless love for family and friends.
He is preceded in death by parents, Clyde Berry and LaVerne LaBrie and sister, Suzanne Berry.
Greg is survived by his wife, Delores; children, Cale (Jill) Berry of Carver, Darla (Jon) Kersten of Princeton; five grandchildren; two sisters, Claudia Riste (Bob) Heidemann, Michelle (Dwight) LaBrie; one nephew, two nieces and many other cousins and friends.
Gathering of family and friends will be held at VFW Post 363 at 1040 Osborne Road in Fridley on Friday, March 6th with an open house from 3-7 p.m. Arrangements with Strike Funeral Homes.
