Duane E. Christians, age 68 of North Branch, passed away on December 12, 2015. Duane was born on December 31, 1946 in Morris, MN to parents Edward and Mildred Christians. He married Nancy Bjerkness on February 17, 1968. Duane was an over the road truck driver for 20 some years.
Family was very important to Duane and he was looking forward to our annual family Christmas which was held on December 12, 2015 – family pictures were taken two hours before his passing.
Duane is survived by his loving wife, Nancy of 47 years; daughters, Kim (Randy) and Tammy (Paul) Becklin; grandchildren, Ashley (Ben) Lind, Katelynn (Forrest), and Ben Stoffel; sister, Shirley (Del) Freel; brother, Marvin; sister-in-law, Natalie (DeLaine) Gotlibson; and many other relatives and friends.
Per Duane’s wishes a Celebration of Life will take place at the family farm next summer.
