Mildred “Mille” Maurine Long of Cambridge passed away on April 21, 2016 at the age of 94 years, 8 months and 4 days.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Franklin Long; her son, Kenneth; and daughter, Darlene.
She was born in Wells, Minnesota on August 18, 1921 to Charles and Clara Giese.
Millie loved her family dearly and is survived by Linda (Al) Cline of Michigan, JoAnn Boylan of Michigan, Charlene (George) Miller of Pennsylvania, Joseph (JoAnn) Long, Jr. of Minnesota, Carol (Greg) DeLine of Minnesota. There was nothing Mildred enjoyed more than her 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
She loved playing cards, word search puzzles and watching the Family Feud.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 24th at Cambridge Lutheran Church with Rev. Dennis Wright officiating. Mary Kay O’Neill served as organist and Donn Fredlund as soloist. Pallbearers were Robert Boylan, Theodore Cline, James Long, Logan DeLine, Ryan Long and Clinton Long. Interment was in Cambridge Lutheran Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at StrikeFuneral.com.
